Germany
Travelling required, both domestic and foreign (due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
Engagement
You will be working with the most prestigious insurance firms who are demanding and ask for the best consulting and IT services.
Together with our teams and our clients you will work with business specialists to understand their environment and apply your expertise to develop innovative solutions that help improve operational efficiency, secure compliance with regulatory requirements and transform finance functions. You will contribute not only to the design of solutions but also to their implementation working at the intersection between business and IT.
Qualifications
- Master or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or finance related areas
- At least 5 years of working experience within the IFRS domain (with particular emphasis on in-depth IFRS 17 knowledge)
- Experience in designing business solutions ensuring IRFS regulatory compliance, supervision of IFRS solutions’ implementation in clients’ IT systems, designing test scenarios, case analysis and problem solving
- Expert knowledge of insurance accounting and applicable regulations
- Working knowledge of internal controls, business processes and experience in developing accounting policies
- SAP Financials knowledge (S/4HANA experience is a plus)
- Professional qualification (IFAC, ACCA, etc.) will be a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication in German and English
- Business awareness and proven analytical skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
